Attorneys Kip Wayerski and Gerry Zmolek have been law partners since 1993. We are highly experienced in Injury and Disability law. Our close working relationship allows us to work together on difficult and complex cases in order to come up with the best possible solutions for the client.

Born and raised in Bellingham, Kip graduated from Gonzaga Law School in 1993 with highest academic honors, Summa Cum Laude. While at Gonzaga, Kip received the Judge James Lawless Scholarship Award from the Superior Court Judges' Association, along with 14 American Jurisprudence Awards for academic excellence. Upon graduation he was presented with the Dean's Award as top student in his 180 student class.

Prior to law school Kip graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Washington State University with a degree in nursing. He was an R.N. in the emergency room at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for five years where he developed an in-depth knowledge of injury and medical treatment. Kip served on the Board of Governor's of Washington State Trial Lawyers' Association (Now called The Washington State Association for Justice) from 1995 to 1998 and is a past chair of the Association's Whatcom County Roundtable. He is a co-author of the Association's Automobile Accident Litigation Deskbook. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.

Kip enjoys spending time with his wife and three grown boys. He is also an avid triathlete, having competed in ten Ironman triathlons, along with numerous on and off-road triathlons.

A California native, Gerry graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was an Army Airborne Ranger infantry officer and Company Commander with the 82nd Airborne Division before attending law school at the University of Puget Sound. He has served on the Board of Governors and has headed the workers' compensation section for the Washington State Trial Lawyers' Association. He has spoken at numerous professional seminars and has published articles on injury and disability law in state and national publications.

Gerry is a past Legislative Vice President of the Washington State Trial Lawyers' Association and served on several committees studying possible revision of the state workers' compensation and civil justice systems. He has over 20 years of litigation and trial experience, trying cases at all levels, including the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, Office of Hearings and Appeals, Superior Court, and Federal Court.

Gerry lives in Bellingham and enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is also an avid golfer.
