A California native, Gerry graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was an Army Airborne Ranger infantry officer and Company Commander with the 82nd Airborne Division before attending law school at the University of Puget Sound. He has served on the Board of Governors and has headed the workers' compensation section for the Washington State Trial Lawyers' Association. He has spoken at numerous professional seminars and has published articles on injury and disability law in state and national publications.
Gerry is a past Legislative Vice President of the Washington State Trial Lawyers' Association and served on several committees studying possible revision of the state workers' compensation and civil justice systems. He has over 20 years of litigation and trial experience, trying cases at all levels, including the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, Office of Hearings and Appeals, Superior Court, and Federal Court.
Gerry lives in Bellingham and enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is also an avid golfer. |
